The Glasshop is not your run-of-the-mill museum shop. It offers beautiful vases, jewellery, our glass cones and other glass objects in different price ranges. These objects have been designed and made with love by our own glassblowers, freelancers and residents. You can also visit the Glasshop for glass-related books, gift vouchers or a personalised work of art: from special trophies to business gifts, in small or large series. We are happy to turn yours ideas into a custom-made reality!
The Glasshop is located in Huis Aerts, a piece of protected heritage named after the first mayor of Lommel, Jan Jacob Aerts. He commissioned the building in 1805 and it served as an inn with rooms until the early the 20th century. Our colourful shop is a delightful clash of original elements with unique exhibition walls and modern display cabinets.
The Glasshop also houses a specialised library. The books and catalogues, which are provided in cooperation with Lommel's Library, can be consulted on the premises. You can check which books are available via the library's online catalogue.
