Most of the museum is accessible for people with reduced mobility or using a wheelchair, mobility scooter or other aid. Only the glass staircase is not accessible. Please note, dogs are not allowed in the museum.

Why is a newspaper used in glassblowing? What's a punti? And what temperatures do the different ovens reach? Our tour guide will be happy to answer all of these questions and more. During a guided tour not only will you get more information about the current exhibition, but you will also learn more about centuries-old glass techniques and glass artists. And after the tour you can browse through the Glasshop.

You can park your bike outside Tourism Lommel. Address: Dorp 14, 3920 Lommel, between bicycle junctions 224 and 229
Park you car for free at the De Adelberg CC car park (2 minutes walk from GlazenHuis). Set 'Adelbergpark' as the destination in your GPS. Pay parking is also available at Hertog-Janplein by the Huis van de Stad (5 minutes walk from GlazenHuis).
There is a direct train from Antwerp-Central to Neerpelt/Hamont. The train stops in Lommel. Attention! The last train back from Lommel to Antwerp leaves at 21.39. The train station is 3 km from the city centre. You can take bus 58 to bus stop Adelberg or book the on-call belbus one hour in advance, rent a blue bike or walk to the city centre (+- 30 min.).
Lines 58 (Beringen - Lommel), 180 (Hasselt - Lommel), 84 (Geel - Hamont) and 307 (Lommel Provil - Lommel Kolonie) all run to Lommel city centre.Lines 58 and 84 both stop at Lommel Adelberg, the nearest bus stop. For information about the itinerary or the route planner, please contact De Lijn. The walk from the bus stop to GlazenHuis takes about 5 minutes.
And by bus? Park at Schepenbank via Klachtloopstraat. Pass the Huis van de Stad, the Michiel Jansplein up to the Corbie Hotel. Then pass the hotel on the right, through the Heerdgang towards Marktplein. GlazenHuis is located diagonally opposite the kiosk. It takes about 10 minutes.
